In this video, Dr. Dee reviews simple ways to address calf tightness, cramping, and tension at home. He starts with a basic wall calf stretch, keeping the back heel down and holding the stretch long enough for the muscle to relax.

He also demonstrates using a roller, stick, dowel, rolling pin, or similar tool to gently work from low to high toward the heart and loosen tight trigger points in the calf. Additional options include a strap stretch and a deeper stair-style stretch that can target different parts of the calf.
