In this video, Dr. Dee reviews at-home steps that may help with foot and ankle discomfort, especially for runners or anyone who spends a lot of time standing. He starts with shoe fit, explaining why properly fitted shoes and correctly tightened laces can reduce pressure on the top of the foot.

He then demonstrates gentle stretches for the top of the foot and shin, ankle circles or alphabet movements for mobility, and using a roller to work through tight shin muscles. Move slowly, use broad strokes first, and avoid forcing painful areas. If foot or ankle pain continues, there may be joint restriction or another issue that should be checked by the First Choice Chiropractic team.
