In this video, Dr. Dee reviews gentle shoulder stretches for stiffness, pain, and limited range of motion. He starts with pendulum swings, where your body creates the motion while the shoulder relaxes, helping the joint move without actively forcing the arm.
He also demonstrates a light weighted pendulum, a tabletop stretch using a towel or pillowcase, and a broomstick-assisted shoulder stretch that lets the unaffected arm guide the movement. These exercises should feel controlled and should not create sharp pain.
