In this video, Dr. Dee from First Choice Chiropractic explains how the Y-Strap is used to gently traction, or decompress, your neck.

The strap is placed behind your neck and head while you lie face-up, then a brief, controlled pull is applied along the spine’s vertical axis. This can help reduce compression around restricted joints, discs, or irritated nerves, and may be used for neck pain or discomfort that travels between your shoulder blades when appropriate for your condition.

The Y-Strap is not right for every patient. Dr. Dee or Dr. Geskie with First Choice Chiropractic will determine whether it fits your symptoms, exam findings, comfort level, and health history.
